Jade Spivey

 

Jade Spivey has just entered into her third year of Musical Theatre BA (Hons) degree, at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, and will be Showcasing to Agents before finishing in April 2011. Her first show will be the Musical PARADE where she will be playing a factory girl Iola Stover.
 

She was delighted to be awarded the Peter Coxhead Memorial Scholarship
 

Previous Performances at Mountview include, Sally - ME AND MY GIRL (director: Jeremy Lloyd Thomas), Stella - CAUSE CELEBRE (director: Richard Cant), Ophelia - HAMLET (director: Darren Lawrence) and Ensemble/Lumitic - SWEENEY TODD (director: Jacqui Summerville)
 

Jade enjoys singing an eclectic mix of musical styles, from pop and jazz to Musical Theatre and Opera. She also a pianist and is developing this alongside her singing.


Prior to training at Mountview, Jade played Cosette in LES MISERABLES (Chelmsford) and performed as part of the Ensemble in WE WILL ROCK YOU (Colchester)

Like many performers, Jade also enjoys working in front of the camera, and is also involved in Modelling, Music Videos and working with UK based film Directors.
